Staycation: Day 2 and thank Jeebus for my licence

So my Tuesday started way early due to the fact that I had to go for my piano lesson.  How are my lessons going you ask?  (I'm going to say it anyways, even though no one asked :))  Well, I get there and then I play my scales...and I crumble because I don't practice enough so I self depricate myself for the period of my lesson and my poor piano teacher has to listen to all of that.  I'm sure her ears are bleeding a little each time I get there.  The pieces that I'm playing for my exam (which is on June 16 O.o eeek!) go as well as I prepare them.  If I managed a lot of practice time, they go splendidly...if not...well we go back to the whole self depricating part as well as the mumbling idiot comes out and we're having a party then.

My Pianers...<3

After my lessons I went to the bank to deposit some money into my account.  I was really paying attention too when I deposited 40 bucks instead of the 60 that I actually put into the envelope.  That was super fun (and by super fun I mean WTF??)  After some more FAIL moments I decided to head on home and go on to Kristin's to finish the mural I started there.
After an hour of trying to get the hell out of the house I finally managed to get to Kristin's and have some realxing painting time.  I am quite pleased with how it's turning out and I believe Kristin likes it, which in the end is what matters.  I can't wait to see the final finished product.

So close I can taste it...
Once I was done at Kristin's I packed up, went back home to change, and went over to my mamus's house.  I had some din din there and spend some Q time with my motha.  Showed her the wonders of Youtube, which she thought was awesome, and then at 6:30 I was on the road once again to go back to my piano teacher's house.  We had a get together with some ladies who are also her students and we played for eachother.  I kept on doing the whole "Woe is me" lamentation and was sick and tired of listening to myself.  I don't know what everyone else did while I was doing that.  The night in the end was a personal triumph though because I kind of got better at playing in front of a listening public.

After the evening, I drove back to my mom's house, got some beautifully smelling Lily of the Valley and drove back home.  I ate, I played piano some more, and now I am blogging :)
Day three was successful and sponsored by the letters D and L...without my driving licence I would kinda be screwed.
Tootles.
