So here it is...my thoughts, jokes, work, life. It is essentially me in a nutshell. Me is: short, Polish, married, emotional, loving, touchy-feely, with a little crazy in the mix as well.

Lucky Girl I am
On all these days when I cry and complain and think "oh poor me", I should really step back and see how lucky I am. I have a family that loves me. When I say family, I mean my mom, dad and my sisters. Yes, they have issues but so do most families out there. Speaking of families, I also have a new family who are nothing but wonderful to me.
I have a job that pays the bills and for the most part, I do what I enjoy. So I don't think some people I work with are that great. At least I don't work in poor conditions where I am paid next to nothing or am forced to do something worse like sell my body and my dignity along with it.
I have friends that are wonderful. So we don't always see eye to eye. Does everyone need to agree 100% with me all the time? Absolutely not.
I have a home that I love. Do I enjoy all my neighbours that are around? Maybe not necessarily but maybe they feel same about me. I love coming home and spending time in it. It isn't my dream home but I love it none the less because it is mine.
My husband. I cannot express enough how much I love and adore my husband. He does everything for me and loves me and cares for me. He is who I depend on and I cannot imagine my life without him. I honestly cannot express how lucky I am to have a man like that in my life. I could gush a lot about my man so I'll save you the nausea and just say I love him with all that is me.
My life....is wonderful. I should remind myself this more often.
Now I'll enjoy my tea as I sit here under a blankie watching tv with my hubbie snoozing on the couch beside me. Life is great.

Movie critic I am
I just watched "Let Me In" and I have to say that it is quite possibly one of the best vampire flicks out there. I am absolutely going to buy the book, the English version of course, and see how it measures up to the movie. I am a major fan of the "book-over-the-movie" deal. Since I loved the movie so much, I should adore the shit out of the book. The movie was a cinematographic genius. It was the right amount of dark, evil, and bloody. Without showing much they conveyed such a touching, dark and haunting story. Chloe Moretz is a wonderful actress and I adore her in every role. When she played Hit Girl in Kick Ass, I said....I want my little girl to be like her. Well, maybe not as murderous but self assured, strong, take no B.S. type of a girl.

T-0 to my staycation!!!
So this is how today started...
My alarm woke me up at 7:30 am. I, however, decided to turn the alarm off. Now for those who know me, know that I am a snoozer. I do not wake up with the first sound of the alarm, pop out of the bed, sing a Mary Poppins tune, and start off my day. I tell myself those sweet sweet words of "Come on...you can sleep 5 more minutes". To fit my snoozing into the schedule of dolling myself up for work, (I do not like walking out of the house without make up because I look like a crack whore in need of a fix or a sick albino) I set my alarm for 7:00 and sleep in aditional half an hour, waking up at 7:30, giving me exactly and hour to do what I need to do not to give little children nightmares at night. Last night I felt the need to watch J.T. on SNL because, well why wouldn't you? This made me really tired and I decided that I will set my alarm for 7:30am. I forgot my whole snoozing routine which made me get up at 8:00 am instead. I woke up with the feeling of "HOLY SHIT!!! I'M LATE!". Having my minor heart attack, I got up and went on with my routine cutting it in half. It didn't help that I kept on banging cupboards and dropping everything which made me think, "This is what today is going to be like o.O".
Today went by really slowly but in the end I persevered and my STAYCATION IS ON BITCHES!!!
I will document it everyday so the few of you who are actually reading this, will not get those precious minutes back (Insert evil laughter here)
With this I shall end this and hopefuly blab some more later.
p.s. Tron soundtrack is the shizzle...just sayin.

It's almost here :)
What I'm talking about is my vacation! I have the next week off and it feels sooo good. I'm super excited to do the little things like organize my bills, finish the second coat in my guest room and bedroom and little things here and there. It might sound like nothing much but honestly it is the greatest feeling knowing that in just one short week, I will be super organized. I can be a freak like that and I LOVE being organized. Just to give you an idea, my closet is organized as such:
1st - My pants (starting with white and finishing with black pants. Jeans are hung seperately)
2nd - My white tops
3rd - My yellow tops
4th - My pink tops
etc etc....finishing on coats
On the second rack (I do have a walk in closet which is a dream come true :D) are all my dresses, including my wedding dress.
My t-shirts are all together and they are also organized by colour
etc. etc....you probably get the idears.
Some people may call this anal...I call it normal (but then again I am a bit crazy so what are you going to do)
Alright, enough about me and my OCD.
I am super excited about this warm weather too. I plan to use it to the MAX. Right now I will be going for a walk in just a few short minutes.
Today I took a walk during my lunch and it was wonderful. I also met up with my husband's cousin Natasha who works at the mall and is an absolute sweetheart. We went to Old Navy together and I thought I would be lucky enough to get me some flip flops for just a $1 each. Unfortunately I have a shoe size 8 and that would be the average size...so you can imagine what happened. I settled for $3 pair of flip flops which was still pretty fricken awesome if I say so myself.
Well I will be taking my new flip-flopsies for a walk now.

Seriously...Seriously???
So this is how my thursday night went at the library...
Got in and started working on my 80's programme box. Had awesome conversations with Tiffany B (Our local teen librarian, American buddy, and all around awesome woman). Went for awesome supper with Val (Val is a walking saint of a person, she makes you want to be a better human being) and my hubby to a sushi place. Came back for 3 more hours of work thinking "I can do this". The first hour went not too bad especially since I was busy reading up on 7 lb tumors, cows with 3 nostrils and a ram stuck on a wire from Ripley's Believe It or Not. Myself and two students also pointed out how one of them, more specifically Marta, resembles Sheldon from "Big bang theory". Then I did some work by completing the 80's box and help customers. All this time we didn't really have a lot of customers other than the group of children in wheelchairs and their workers who went through out department seeing if it is accessable. Our evening was going realtively smooth and then at 7:15..just 45 minutes to close, ALL the customers started coming in with difficult questions :) MY FAVOURITE!! REALLY??? Why? Did all the OTHER hours of the day not work in any way for you to come in and perhaps get your shit together? Mind you this is not sooo bad. Usually they come 10 minutes until closing time. Last week we had customers who were quite shocked when they came up to the circulation desk and ALL the computers were shut off. The conversation went something like this...
Customer: "You're closed?"
Me: "Yes, that's why we had the announcements every 5 minutes for the past 15 minutes"
Customer: "Oh I didn't know that"
Me: "You have 10 dollars fines on your card"
Customer: "10 DOLLARS??"
Me: "Yes..you have to bring it down for you to use your card"
Customer: "What are they for?"
Me: "Blah blah blah...this and that"
Customer: (to her daughter) "This is going to come out of your allowance"
Me: *thinking* Hurry the fuck up...I just want to go home and I don't give two shits about what you're going to do after this.
Customer: "Here's $2.00"
Me: "Great...thanks"
I'm just saying....

Gamer wha?
I SUCK at video games. I was playing a basic LEGO star wars game and I SUCKED at it. My storm trooper was shooting in random directions, I kept on getting killed and my point level sucked major balls. A LEGO GAME!!!! Holy shit. Mario I'm not too bad in and also some of the wii sport games but seriously...LEGO? I get soooo frustrated playing that I have a hissy fit, turn off the game and storm off. Who has a temper tantrum over a video game? Only me...Mind you, I'm not terribly upset that I do not know how to play video games well. Sometimes though I feel like...I've been defeated by a video game. Brilliant.
I kick ass at other things so I shouldn't be too upset at this. I yelled at teens today for being total dicks, helped out a friend in need and clean like nobody's business.
I rock.
